Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Keepsi (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a private, local-first screenshot organizer. This Privacy Policy explains what stays on your device, what advertising partners may collect, and your choices. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

2. Who we are

Keepsi is a technology company based in Israel, founded by Liron Shiryon. For privacy questions or requests, contact keepsi@bylishi.com.

3. What stays on your device

Screenshots, thumbnails, on-device OCR text, collections, notes, reminders, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Keepsi does not create a cloud account for your library, and we do not upload your screenshots or recognized text to our servers.

Screenshots remain in your device photo library. Sharing uses the system share sheet you choose; we do not receive those files unless you email them to us.

4. No cloud screenshot library

There is no Keepsi user account for your screenshots. Deleting the app (or clearing app data) removes local Keepsi metadata, subject to your device’s backup settings.

5. Advertising and device data

The app is free and shows a bottom banner through Unity LevelPlay (ironSource mediation). Ads may be served by LevelPlay and mediated networks we enable, currently including ironSource and Unity Ads. Advertising is not the same as storing your screenshots. To serve, measure, and limit ads, these providers and related partners may collect or use:

• Device identifiers and advertising IDs
• Approximate location (as disclosed on Google Play Data safety)
• App activity related to ads (for example impressions and clicks)
• IP address and similar technical data sent over the network

This means Keepsi is not a zero-data product. Your screenshots stay on the device; ad infrastructure still processes device and ad identifiers. See Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy (covers LevelPlay and Unity Ads) and the ironSource Privacy Policy.

On iOS, the app may request App Tracking Transparency permission. You can refuse tracking and still use Keepsi.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through ads or support email, contact us.

6. How we use information

We use information to:

• Run the local inbox, collections, search, reminders, and cleanup tools on your device.
• Display a bottom banner ad that funds the free app.
• Respond to support requests you send to our email.
• Meet legal obligations.

7. Permissions

The app may request:

8. Sharing with third parties

We share data only with service providers needed to run ads and this website:

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your screenshots or personal information to data brokers.

9. Data retention

• On-device Keepsi data: Until you delete it, clear Keepsi metadata in the app, or uninstall.
• Advertising identifiers: Retained by Unity LevelPlay, mediated networks (including ironSource and Unity Ads), and partners per their policies.
• Support email: Kept as long as needed to answer you, then deleted in the ordinary course.

10. Security

Local screenshots and metadata stay in the app’s storage and your photo library. Optional Face ID / app lock can require authentication to open Keepsi or private collections. No method is 100% secure; keep your device updated and use a lock screen.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold (typically support email).
• Delete local media in the app or by uninstalling.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (including ad tracking).
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Ads: Limit ad tracking in device settings (for example “Limit Ad Tracking” / App Tracking on iOS, or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).

12. International transfers

Advertising partners may process device identifiers in countries where they operate, including the United States, under their terms.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
